To start, the vanity and linen are a custom build. We worked with our local cabinet maker to match the mirror and cabinets perfectly. The top is a Livingstone Solid Surface Color called Sea Pearl. The faucets are Kohlers Tempered Single Handle in a matte black finish. The lights above the vanity were a customer pick and perfect for this space. Special dimmers were added to give aesthetics to the space. This is Daltile’s Co Star Calcatta Sky in a 12×24. The tile has light wood grains that are soft. The light gray tones are gentle and do not over take the space. The centerpiece of the bathroom is definitely the luxury spa shower. This black and white space is top of the line. This is called the Kohler Shower system, consisting of an Awaken Hydro rail and 3 Water Tile body sprays all in a matte black finish. The wall tile is an oversized white subway in a 4×12 linear tile. The Large wall niche is built with 4 shelves for storage with Daltile’s Perpetuo Infinite Matte Black 12×24 tile that matches the hexagon floor. On the opposite side of the shower area is a bench seat built with the same matte black tile and topped with a matching solid surface top as the vanity and shelves. There is an added niche for storage on the side. The shower glass is 3/8 with a hinged door and glass on the knee walls, all frameless with some matte black accents.
The bathroom has 3 doors, all were updated and painted with soft close hardware added to them. Two of them were converted into pocket doors. We added disc lights to the ceiling for more lighting.
This is absolutely one of my favorite spaces we have done to date. This black tile is beyond gorgeous. Who says you cant use dark colors in your bathroom area.
