The bathroom, like the kitchen, is the most seen by visitors to your home. A simple “refreshing” of the bathroom can help keep you occupied during the next few months and change the atmosphere of one of the rooms people spend the most time in!
Consider a new floor or a luxurious rug in front of the sink or tub. The change to the floor with a pop of color will certainly draw attention. A new floor, whether wood, tile or ceramic, will tie the room together.
Even small changes can do a lot for a small space!
Upgrade the fixtures. How about a new toilet that looks different from the standard toilets and, if you don’t have one yet, uses water more efficiently. What about the lighting or even the hardware on the cabinets. Little changes like this are perfect!
Change the shower head. There are so many different shower heads out there right now that offer so many choices; water pressure changes with massage, dual shower heads, a shower head with several little sprayers running down the bath wall. There are plenty of home stores that sell these and they aren’t that expensive or difficult to install.
Of course, you can always go for a full bathtub/shower remodel and call us! While we do the work, you can enjoy the winter weather outside…for just a little bit. Then, get back to the cabin fever but enjoy a whole new room!
